Everything assisted or imported — voice-note proposals, camera and instrument values, imports, a marking session’s intervention — waits for a person to accept, edit or reject it. Here is where to find it and how to decide.

The verification firewall

A value that a machine read — from speech, a photo, an instrument or an imported file — keeps its provenance and stays out of every score, chart and report until a person confirms it. Evaluations say how many unconfirmed values they left out. Nothing is accepted in bulk without an explicit second confirmation.

Review incoming at the top of the Overview opens the first page with something to confirm, and the Field work section shows a count. Imports waiting for review appear under Field work › Imports (and on the property) — see Import anything.

  1. Read the transcript (and play the recording with Load recording). Remarks that fit no field are listed under Notes that fit no field — never forced into a record.
  2. Check what would be stored and how it was read — Dbh: said 34 cm diameter; a girth is shown with its conversion (÷ π). Flags mark anything assumed (no unit was said — taken as cm; check it).
  3. Choose Accept, Edit & accept or Reject for each proposal.
  4. Accept all valid proposals… asks you to confirm again, and accepts only those without problems.

Records awaiting confirmation

  1. Filter by topic if the visit was long.
  2. Find the records awaiting confirmation — the chip on each group says how many; they carry the provisional style.
  3. Read the provenance of every value: human, voice, camera, instrument or import. History shows each record’s versions — who changed what, and when.

A marking session’s intervention

A marking session proposes an intervention (basal area and volume removed, per band). It is recorded only when you choose Confirm and record this intervention on Field work › Marking — see Tree marking.

Tip

Owners never see the confirmation queue; their pages show only confirmed data.

What it doesn’t do (yet)
  • There is no cross-portfolio inbox of everything awaiting confirmation yet — a “needs attention” digest across all clients is planned. Review stand by stand from the Overview.
