Grant evidence: scheme checklists and payment evidence
Check what a grant scheme asks for against what the app holds — WIS CCF and the afforestation 2nd instalment in Ireland, LISS and the FGS stocking return in Scotland, Countryside Stewardship WD2 and EWCO in England — see the gaps, and produce the payment-evidence report.
Scheme rules change. Every checklist item cites its source and section; check the current scheme rules. The app never fills in, files or submits a grant, licence or notification form, and never decides eligibility.
Check the evidence
Open the property’s Reports & evidence (from a stand: Plan & evidence › Reports & evidence), and choose Payment evidence. Pick the Scheme checklist — the list offers the schemes for the property’s country.
Choose Check evidence now. Set the claim period with From and To first if you need one.

2 Check evidence now
Each item has a status — present, partial, missing, outside the app (held elsewhere: the plan, receipts), not applicable or a deadline — the records that support it, and its source. Gaps to close before claiming lists the missing and partial items, required ones first.
What each checklist checks
Scheme
Items checked in the app
Ireland — WIS 2023–27, Element 3 (CCF)
Schedule of actions vs actions taken (plan register); works done with quantities; a field and forest plot assessment after the works; thinning control plots (~20 × 20 m, positioned — sample locations with purpose “thinning control”); the mapped area; Form 2 within 12 weeks of works (a deadline per thinning or felling); windblown extent (windblow record); recommended: damage to remaining trees and soils (post-harvest check). Plan, maps, receipts and invoices: held outside the app.
Scotland — FGS Sustainable Management of Forests: LISS
Map of the area; the annual deer-damage assessment (nearest-neighbour or herbivore impact assessment) with its stops located; cull records (interventions or a cull dataset); a record of time inputs and visits (visit & time log); the annual monitoring form deadline (1 Dec – 14 Mar).
Scotland — LISS Monitoring capital item
One FC Information Note 45 assessment per 5 years (stand data and regeneration); every plot located by GPS.
England — Countryside Stewardship WD2
Work done vs the agreed programme; quantities each year; geo-referenced photos with direction; the work-area map; submission with the claim by 15 May.
An establishment survey within 2 months of the claim, on track (90 % of the planted trees free growing); failures replaced (beating-up planned and done); the plots and boundaries mapped (the stand boundary — the Certified Species Map is drawn in iNET or your GIS); vegetation control in the 1 m spot; claimable 4 years after planting. Shaping, fencing and firebreaks: held outside the app.
England — EWCO establishment and maintenance
Stocking kept by year 5 (1,100 broadleaves / 2,500 conifers per ha) from an establishment survey; dead trees replaced; plot photos with a GPS position; the agreement map (the stand boundary).
Scotland — FGS stocking density return
An establishment survey with at least the Stocking Density Survey Protocol’s number of 0.01 ha plots for the area; plots marked and located; a map of the numbered plots; dead trees replanted before claiming.
Produce the payment evidence
With the checklist chosen, Generate payment evidence produces a dated report with repeatable IBP and WHIA scores, the checklist with its sources and gaps, the control plots and marking audit, and the visit & time log for the period. See Reports.

What it doesn’t do (yet)
Ireland: the WIS profile follows the Teagasc copy of the DAFM scheme document (Dec 2023); the current gov.ie version and Form 2 itself were not checked.
Claim maps are drawn in your GIS or the scheme’s system; the app supplies boundaries and positions.
No checklists yet for Wales or Northern Ireland (or outside Ireland and Great Britain): the evidence report still carries the visits, measurements, plan register and photos — check the scheme’s own rules.
