The plan register is the schedule of actions — year, plot, action, quantity and estimated cost — with what was actually done against it. It is evidence for schemes such as WIS (schedule of actions vs actions taken) and England’s CS WD2 (work done vs agreed programme). It is a register, not a task list.
Planned actions
- 1 Add planned action
- 2 Planned vs done, line by line
- 3 Download CSV
- Choose Add planned action for each line of your plan’s schedule.
- Read planned vs done. Each line has a status — Done, Partly done (under 90 % of plan), Due this year, Not done (year passed), Planned or Dropped — what was done, and the quantity and cost variance. Suggested work (same year, matching type) is offered with Link — never linked automatically.
- Download CSV for your plan or a claim.
- 1 Year, plot and action
- 2 Quantity, unit and estimated cost
- 3 Link the work that did it
- 4 Justify any deviation
- 5 Add to plan
- Year, plot or sub-compartment (as the plan writes it — WIS: Plot No.) and the action.
- Planned quantity and unit, estimated cost. For units the linked work does not carry (ha, metres, visits), enter the quantity done by hand.
- Done by — tick the interventions that delivered this line.
- Justify any deviation — WIS asks for work outside the schedule, or not done, to be justified. Tick Dropped from the plan to cancel a line with its reason.
- Choose Add to plan.
Overdue lines show on the stand Overview (Needs your attention, Coming up), as a count on Plan & evidence, and on the phone’s stand list (Fence check — overdue).
Work done
- 1 Record intervention
Interventions — thinnings, fellings, planting, fencing — are the before/after reference points for results, photos and the plan register. Choose Record intervention and enter the date, type, basal area and volume removed, income and cost, and notes. Before / after compares the evaluation just before and just after it.
A marking session can record its intervention for you once you confirm it (Tree marking). Work done that is in no plan line is listed under the table — Done but not in the schedule — to justify if the scheme asks.
- No reminders or calendar: a monitoring cadence and suggested follow-ups (accepted by you, never auto-scheduled) are planned.
- The app does not write the management plan document.
