Schemes such as Scotland’s LISS ask for a record of visits and time inputs. The app keeps one per stand, two ways: automatically — the first record on a stand opens a visit, and each later record moves its end time (a gap of more than two hours starts a new one) — and by hand, with the clock.
- 1 The clock: start / stop by hand
- 2 Totals
- 3 A visit with no end time — fix it
- Start the clock when you arrive (for work that records nothing, such as marking or an inspection) and Stop the clock when you leave. Add the purpose, the people and travel time.
- Read the totals — visits and time on site.
- Fix open visits. A visit with no end time is flagged Still open — no end time and counts no time until you edit it.
On the web, the log is under History, below the timeline; the payment-evidence report includes it for its period.
What it doesn’t do (yet)
- It is not a timesheet or invoicing tool: no rates, no export to accounts.
